Farmers believes in a culture of collaboration, creativity, and innovation, which thrives when we have the ability to work flexibly in a virtual setting as well as the opportunity to be together in person. Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office.
Applicants beyond fifty (50) miles may still be considered.
This is a on-site position during training, based at our Dayton, Ohio office, with Fridays conducted virtually.
- Office Location (On-site Days): 9797 Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45448
Candidates must reside within 50 miles (door-to-door) of the office to be considered.
Start Dates:
- Unlicensed: Tuesday, March 3, 2026
- Licensed: Tuesday, March 31, 2026 (Active Producer/Agent License with Property & Casualty Line of Authority required)
Training
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday (on-site) and Friday (virtual), 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM EST
Department Operating
Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM EST
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST
Applicants must be able to work a schedule that may include Saturdays.
Compensation:
- Starting hourly rate is $22.31 per hour

This position is a critical part of Farmers Insurance as it supports our customers and agents. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, supporting inquiries and insurance policy needs by answering questions regarding coverage, rates, billing issues, and general policy reviews.
We care about your professional development at Farmers, so we offer paid training with our renowned University of Farmers before you start serving customers, so you can succeed in this role!
In this role you will:
- Deliver exceptional customer service while proactively seeking solutions within compliance and legal requirements.
- Communicate with customers via multiple channels (phone, chats, emails) while navigating multiple systems and platforms.
- This position operates within a highly structured environment that requires you be fully present and engaged. This includes designated start and end times, scheduled lunch and break periods.
- Assists internal and external customers with moderately complex issues related to insurance matters. Delivers exceptional service while proactively seeking feasible solutions within compliance and legal requirements.
