Are you a seasoned construction leader with a strong background in high-value commercial projects? My client is seeking a Vice President of Construction to oversee and drive excellence in our large-scale commercial construction operations in Ohio.
About the Role:As the Vice President of Construction, you will be responsible for leading and managing all construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a pivotal role in strategic planning, team leadership, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
- Develop and implement construction strategies, policies, and best practices.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure financial success.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing construction team.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align construction initiatives with business goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience, with a proven track record in large-scale projects.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a senior construction management role.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contract negotiations, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of Ohio’s building codes and regulations.
