Adult Education Secretary (Long-Term Secretary)

General Description:

The Adult Education Secretary will provide quality secretarial support to the Adult Education division and maintain an efficiently run department in terms of paperwork and office procedure. This position is for the 2026-27 school year only.

Qualifications:

* Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school graduation

* Four years of office work experience with a minimum of one year in an educational institution, preferred

* Good knowledge of office procedures, practices, and equipment

* Excellence in business English, spelling, grammar, and punctuation

* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

* Ability to exercise tact, good judgment, and initiative

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

* Promotes teamwork and helps staff as needed to successfully accomplish delegated tasks

* Demonstrates professionalism and contributes to a positive work environment

* Must be able to cooperate and communicate with staff, administrators, and the public

* Support community partnerships that enhance district programs and service
