Position OverviewThis position is responsible for supporting the Risk Management & Insurance program within Premier Health Partners, as well as attorneys from the General Counsel’s office. The position will assist with clerical, data entry, insurance, claims, and contract functions. It serves as a liaison between patients, families, employees, outside counsel, insurance contacts and department staff. A high degree of accountability for the maintenance of confidential and sensitive information is required.
ResponsibilitiesThe Department Assistant provides full secretarial support for the Director of Risk Management, Claims & Insurance for Premier Health Partners, the Risk Managers for the associated entities within Premier Health Partners, and the Manager of Insurance & Claims Support for Premier Health Partners. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, scheduling meetings, answering telephones and directing calls, typing and copying documents, data entry, filing information in claim files, and taking directions from the aforementioned individuals.
Qualifications- High School Diploma, High School completion, or GED
- Minimum 1–3 years of job‑related experience
- Willingness to commute and work in‑person in the Dayton, Ohio area
