Key Must‑Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Public accounting experience with a Big 4 or large regional firm
  • 7–10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
Position Overview

The Accounting Manager will play a key role in managing financial reporting, supporting operational decision‑making, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This individual will lead the monthly close process, oversee key financial activities, and supervise accounting staff while working closely with leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation
  • Prepare and review daily operational reporting, including cash receipts, shipments, and retail activity
  • Monitor and report on capital spending performance against budget
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly tax filings
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop financial accountants and invoicing specialists
  • Support internal and external audit processes, including responding to audit requests and ensuring documentation accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Assist with financial analysis, reporting improvements, and other accounting initiatives as needed
Additional Qualifications
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) ERP
  • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, complex environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
