We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our growing finance team. This key leadership role will support financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions.

• Oversee and coordinate general ledger accounting activities in compliance with GAAP
• Perform and review account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Oversee payroll processing, tax filings, and regulatory compliance
• Support revenue recognition and technical accounting initiatives
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Maintain internal controls and financial reporting accuracy

• Proven accounting experience within a construction environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Hands‑on experience with Quick Books
• Experience with account reconciliation, financial analysis, and regulatory reporting
• Knowledge of payroll processing and revenue recognition
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
• Excellent communication skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience supporting audits
