ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Our client, an established and growing organization in the Mid-west, is actively seeking a motivated individual to join their Accounting Team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST:
- The Accounts Payable Specialist will efficiently match invoices with purchase orders
- The Accounts Payable Specialist will voucher and post invoices accurately and quickly
- Verify entity, company, GL-coding, and that invoices match prior to posting
- Assist with statement review, creating credits, and coordinating with vendors to resolve issues
- Assist the team with GL coding and PO inquiries, as needed
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST ROLE:
- Must have 2+ years' experience with accounts payable
- Proficiency in working with computer software is essential
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel is preferred
