What You’ll Do:

As a CFO Services Accountant, you’ll provide outsourced accounting solutions for a wide variety of clients. You’ll support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger activity, and financial reporting, often working directly at client sites. This role requires juggling multiple client needs while keeping a sharp eye on accuracy and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable: vendor setup, invoice entry, and payment processing
  • Handle accounts receivable: invoicing, cash applications, and collections
  • Monitor client cash positions and forecast future cash requirements
  • Maintain the chart of accounts and oversee all general ledger activities
  • Complete month-end closes with reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Perform budget vs. actual variance analysis
  • Process payroll for clients
  • Research and resolve discrepancies or missing data with clients
  • Work effectively across remote, client-site, and in-office environments
  • Meet or exceed annual chargeable hours goals
  • Support other projects and tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
  • Must reside in the Dayton, OH metro area
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Quick Books, and Intacct
  • Experience or interest in leveraging automation and AI-based tools
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (client sites may be up to 1 hour away)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple engagements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with clients and team members
