This position will be ONSITE in Davis, CA and MUST be able to commute there.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay: $26-30/hr
This is a contract for 1 year.

- Reporting to the Quality Systems Manager and performing in-process inspection audits on machined and welded production and engineering materials.
- Ensuring documentation, including material certificates and vendor inspection reports, is accurate and complete.
- Conducting audits on the shop floor and providing feedback to manufacturing personnel, product engineering, and purchasing regarding quality inspection of manufactured parts.
- Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Mechanical Quality inspection or a related trade (Machining or Welding).
- Demonstrate knowledge and practical application of precision measuring equipment and inspection tools, including CMM, Optical Comparator, and smart scopes.
- Possess good communication skills and the ability to clearly convey results of quality control activities, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
