The OEE provides short‑term, career development courses for professional and executive development.
These programs are designed for executives, managers and employees at all levels of a company.
This professional role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities within LDI’s educational certificate programs. The individual in this position assists the program manager with organizing existing custom educational courses while also supporting the team in the development of new programs. The position requires strong organizational skills to monitor course registrations, provide information to potential enrollees, and manage various financial aspects such as vendor services.
Budget management is a key aspect, with responsibilities including preparation, and reconciliation of program budgets. Additionally, the individual can support the program manager with developing programmatic marketing plans and supports faculty coordination for educational programs. On program days, they provide crucial support for both in‑person and virtual events, managing classroom setup (i.e., catering, program materials, etc.) and materials preparation in advance of day of.
They play a role in supporting business development efforts, which includes coordinating client meetings, managing CRM data entry, generating reports, and assisting with proposal preparation. Overall, this role demands a versatile professional capable of juggling multiple tasks and contributing to the success of educational programs and business development initiatives.
This is a one‑year contract position with possibility for renewal contingent upon continued funding.

- Working knowledge of departmental and organization policies and procedures; knowledge of educational program content and objectives.
- Working knowledge of delivering public educational programs.
- Working knowledge of current public education programs and trends.
- Working skills to produce and deliver programs.
- Working knowledge of conducting needs assessment.
- Good analytical skills to understand how business needs can be addressed through the design and delivery of training programs.
- Good reading, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, and good presentation skills.
- Skill in using business software systems in the completion of work assignments (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- 3-5 years of higher education program management experience, preferably in Executive Education or Continuing Education environment.
- Occasional weekend and evening work hours supporting programs.
- This position is an on‑campus office position with some work‑from‑home ability.
- Incumbent should reside within a commutable distance to the UC Irvine campus.
