The Department of Environmental Science and Policy at the University of California, Davis invites applications for lecturer positions to teach courses during the  academic year. Compensation and appointment length will depend on the number of courses assigned and the units per course.

To instruct various ESP/ENV courses throughout the academic year...

Appointment dates:

• Fall Quarter 2025:
  September 22, 2025 - December 12, 2025
• Winter Quarter 2026:
  January 2, 2026 - March 20, 2026
• Spring Quarter 2026:
  March 26, 2026 - June 11, 2026

• Teach one or more undergraduate or graduate courses in Environmental Science and Policy and/or Environmental Policy and Management.
• Potential teaching load of one to two courses per year depending on programmatic need and availability.

• Appropriate professional degree (Doctorate) or Master’s degree with prior professional success and recognition for excellence.
• Thirty (30) units of graduate coursework with prior professional success and recognition for excellence.
• Demonstrated teaching ability.
• Developing record of scholarly or professional achievement in an area of expertise related to the subject area of the course.

• Project Management Experience.
• A demonstrated teaching ability.
• Developing record of scholarly or professional achievement related to the course subject.
• University level teaching experience highly desired.
