Department DescriptionUnder the direction of the Managing Director of the Design to Data (D2D) program, the SPRINT Project coordinator will oversee day-to-day operational, administrative, and project management activities that support SPRINT;
Scalable Protein Research for Innovative Training - a next-generation biomanufacturing workforce development initiative. The position promotes operational cohesiveness, internal and external communication, and effective collaboration across a distributed network of up to 100 partner institutions. #CA-AR

- B.A or B.S in Business Administration, Communications, Education, Life Sciences and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Experience coordinating complex projects or managing administrative workflows.
- Strong team player and self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects, independently prioritize deliverables, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills to communicate across diverse audiences and complete complex, multi-stakeholder assignments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and shared file systems
- Experience with project coordination or management software such as Asana or , experience working in academic or multi-institutional environments,
- Experience organizing teams, establishing processes, and creating communication strategies
- Familiarity with academic culture, government sponsors, and private‑sector partners
- Prior experience working in the protein science field in either a technical, operational, or communications‑focused role

Department Specific Job ScopeThe Design to Data (D2D) program, housed within the Center, is a national undergraduate research network focused on scalable biomanufacturing education through protein engineering. The SPRINT initiative (Scalable Protein Research for Innovative Training) expands D2D's impact by growing the network from 40 to 100 institutions and training thousands of undergraduates annually. Centralized operational coordination is essential to maintain consistency, communication, and project execution across this rapidly growing network.
