Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support their growing finance and accounting operations. To thrive, you should have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least two years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and standard accounting practices across general ledger, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • CPA or progress toward certification, or equivalent professional credential, preferred.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced functionality in Microsoft Excel and related financial tools.
  • Demonstrated capability in financial analysis, variance review, reconciliation, and accurate preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
How you’ll have an impact as the Staff Accountant:
  • Maintain accurate financial records and manage the general ledger, including reconciliations and transaction processing.
  • Support month-end and year-end close, including preparation of financial statements and related reporting.
  • Analyze financial data, monitor budgets, and provide insights on trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance through strong internal controls, audit support, vendor oversight, and tax coordination.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and support business objectives.
