Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – Transplant Specialty – Florida

Start Date: April 6, 2026

Location: Davie, Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule:  with liver transplant call coverage; 36-40 hours per week guaranteed; includes 1 call shift per week and 2 weekend shifts per month

Highlights:

• Advanced transplant surgery focus including liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplantation
• 230-bed teaching facility with 18 operating rooms and daily census of 55-60 patients
• Epic charting system in a smoke-free, Magnet-designated environment
• Specialized experience with MISONIX/CUSA technology required
• Full transplant case involvement including organ implantation procedures
• Paid orientation (40 hours) with free parking and comprehensive onboarding support

Requirements:

• Active Florida RN license (pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of direct Operating Room experience with transplant surgery
• ACLS and BLS certifications required at time of application
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Demonstrated proficiency in MISONIX/CUSA equipment
• Strong experience in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant procedures including organ implantation (not just procurement/harvesting)
• Nicotine-free status confirmed by 10-panel drug screen with cotinine testing
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Willingness to participate in teaching and training activities
• Ability to float within scope of practice as needed
