Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Florida

Start Date: February 16, 2026
Location: Davie, Florida
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36–40 guaranteed hours per week; includes on-call (1 shift weekly) and (2) 12-hour weekend shifts per month

Highlights:

• Strong focus on robotics, orthopedic, and neurosurgical cases using advanced systems including Da Vinci Xi and Mako platforms
• Diverse case mix across multiple specialties including general, vascular, gynecologic, urologic, and thoracic procedures
• 18 operating rooms with a daily census of 55 cases in a high-volume acute care environment
• Epic EMR system with 40 hours of comprehensive orientation provided
• Teaching facility offering opportunities to mentor students and new staff
• Float within scope to meet facility operational needs

Requirements:

• Active Florida RN license (pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of direct Operating Room RN experience required
• Strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurosurgical OR experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required at time of submission
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Successful completion of EKG and pharmacology assessments during orientation (maximum 2 attempts each)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine/cotinine test (nicotine-free requirement strictly enforced)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Two professional references from direct supervisor, manager, or director
• All requested time off must be submitted with initial application
