We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the maintenance and repair of industrial production and packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical and electrical background, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining pharmaceutical or packaging machinery. This role requires someone who is proactive, resourceful, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
MUST BE BILINGUAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH.
Location: Davie, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 PM – 5:45 AM (Overnight Shift)
Salary: $30.24 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor electrical duties including voltage checks, continuity checks, and replacement of electrical components.
- Disassemble, repair, and replace malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
- Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on industrial production and processing machinery.
- Maintain and document preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace conveyor belts, bearings, and electrical motors.
- Assemble and reassemble machinery and equipment using hand tools and pneumatic power tools.
- Request necessary parts and electrical components to keep equipment operational.
- Interpret and follow mechanical diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude toward learning, growth, and adapting to new technologies and processes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic/technician in a packaging or industrial environment (pharmaceutical experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding systems.
- Hands-on experience with A/DC motors, PLC electronic systems, and machinery installations.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Forklift operation experience required.
- Experience repairing industrial pharmaceutical equipment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Must be highly resourceful, responsible, and hardworking with the ability to work independently.
