Millwright/Rigger – Travel Required

Position Summary:
A tradesman engaged in the erection of industrial machinery. Responsibilities include leveling, aligning, and installing machinery on foundations or base plates, as well as configuring electric motors or other power sources such as turbines. Skilled millwrights read blueprints and schematics to construct complex systems and collaborate with other mechanical trades.
- Mechanically inclined to disassemble and assemble machinery, maintaining personal hand tooling.
- Operate rigging equipment and tooling such as dollies, jacks, lift trucks, scissors lifts, and other powered material handling devices.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to execute floor layouts and set equipment elevations.
- Understand complex material handling systems, equipment, motors, and alignment for installation.
- Utilize alignment and leveling tools such as Brunson, K&E, Rotalign, and others.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in manufacturing facilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills and Abilities
- Willingness to safely complete any assigned task with a positive attitude.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Computer literate to operate alignment equipment.
- Rigging knowledge and skill to assist with movements.
- Stationary duties include standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
- Frequent use of arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools.
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work at heights, climb ladders, stairways, and occasionally on platforms or scaffolding with required fall protection.
- Must work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE.
- Valid driver’s license – preferred.
- OSHA 10‑hour certification.
- Stand or be on feet for 10–12 hours per day.
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Climb ladders, steps, or other lifts as required.
- Work outdoors in various temperatures for 10–12 hours per day.
