BRIEF POSITION SUMMARYThe Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager plays a key role in developing and executing customer lifecycle strategies and go-to-market (GTM) plans aimed at driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention of targeted segments. This role combines strategic vision, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on expertise in campaign management and optimization to effectively convert customer and market insights into actionable initiatives to achieve measurable business outcomes.
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Owns the development and execution of customer lifecycle strategies and GTM plans for digital sales customers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable impact.
- Leads and influences cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, eCommerce, Business Units, Customer Solutions, agencies) to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and deliver integrated marketing programs.
- Obtains and maintains an in-depth understanding of both existing and emerging customer needs, competitive trends and industry drivers that impact assigned customer segments.
- Analyzes customer journeys, churn signals and campaign performance to identify opportunities for retention, growth, and capturing a greater share of a customers' purchases.
- Leverages analytics and reporting tools to track KPIs, generate actionable insights, and inform strategic and tactical decisions.
- Champions a data-driven approach to test, learn and iterate marketing programs, adapting quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.
- Manages and enhances customer loyalty and engagement programs, using voice-of-customer (VOC) and market insights to drive retention.
- Supports the MSC brand by ensuring consistency across deployed tactics and on digital platforms with adherence to brand standards including voice, identity and tone.
- Fosters the MSC Culture within the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.
- Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or the equivalent experience is required.
- Minimum of five years of marketing experience, with at least two years managing integrated marketing programs or campaigns.
- Experience developing customer acquisition and retention strategies based on business goals and customer insights.
- Proven success in developing, executing and optimizing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, market conditions, and organizational needs while maintaining focus on delivering results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to clearly articulate strategies and plans to ensure alignment and understanding across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience managing forecasts and budgets.
- Ability to work with and influence stakeholders across the organization.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Position requires travel on an as needed basis.
- This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information ("ITAR") and/or Controlled Unclassified Information ("CUI").
Compensation starting at $72,100 - $113,300 depending on experience.
