Position: GCP Data Architect

Job Description: Experienced Data Platform Architect to design and manage enterprise‑grade data solutions. This role will focus on building and optimizing data platforms leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Databricks, Looker, and Dataform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across all data‑driven applications.

• Design and implement modern data platform architecture for enterprise applications
• Ensure seamless integration of Dataform, Looker, Databricks, and GCP services
• Architect solutions using Google Cloud Platform components:
  Big Query, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency

• Develop semantic models and dashboards in Looker
• Enable self‑service analytics and governance
• Build and maintain data workflows using Dataform and Databricks
• Implement best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration

• Establish CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
• Automate deployments and monitoring for data services

• Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards

• Cloud Expertise:
  Strong experience with GCP Data Platform
• Data Engineering Tools:
  Proficiency in Databricks, Dataform, and SQL‑based transformations
• BI Tools:
  Advanced knowledge of Looker
• Programming:
  Python, SQL, Spark
• Dev Ops:
  Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Architecture:
  Ability to design end‑to‑end data solutions for large‑scale enterprise environments

• Google Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect certification
• Experience with modern data governance frameworks
• Exposure to AI/ML and advanced analytics
