BRIEF

POSITION SUMMARY:

The internship program is a rewarding and challenging development program for talented, high performing students. Interns working in the MDM – Product Governance area will gain hands‑on experience working within STIBO, one of Gartner's Top‑ranked platforms for Data Management. Additionally, MSC is building out new areas of governance on a year‑long transformation. Interns will be part of the team helping to leverage AI tools, agents and innovative techniques to automate critical processes.

DUTIES

AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Will take on an important project within our MDM Transformation Project
  • Work cross‑functionally with Project Team, Data Partner to create new processes for data transformation and automation
  • Identify patterns and anomalies in data structures that could impact data quality and/or overall maintenance of data.
  • Profile data and update existing data structures to help minimize rework and ensure future data quality.
  • Gain hands‑on experience in STIBO platform and cutting‑edge analytical tools leveraging AI to solve complex data issues
  • Plan, execute, and complete special projects as assigned.
  • Presents intern project results to business leaders.
  • Learns & fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.
  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma required.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
  • Excellent academic record.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office software required.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff and management is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
  • Positive, high‑energy approach to assignments and a willingness to learn quickly required.
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Area of study in Technical Communication, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or Data Management preferred.
Other Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”)

Compensation starting at $22/hr depending on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
