Ingersoll Rand's Internal Audit Department plays a crucial role in making sure our company runs effectively and follows important policies and regulations. As an IT Audit Intern reporting to our IT Audit Manager, you will participate in a variety of IT audit activities - such as assisting in the execution of SOX walkthroughs and testing, operational IT audits, and special projects - all while being guided by the wider IT Audit Team.

This internship offers a hands‑on learning experience in a supportive, professional environment, great for someone who wants to understand how auditing of IT systems works in a global company and explore emerging technologies like Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and data analytics.

• Gain an understanding of Ingersoll Rand's brands and business operations.
• Become familiar with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Learn fundamental auditing processes and the role of Internal Audit.
• Learn about key IT processes, risks, and control measures.
• Get exposure to various IT systems and audit technologies.
• Gain hands‑on experience with RPA and/or analytics.
• Understand how cybersecurity impacts IT auditing.
• Understand the basics of Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance for IT Audits.
• Develop clear professional communication and documentation skills.
• Enhance problem‑solving skills through root‑cause analysis of issues.
• Improve time management by balancing multiple audit tasks and deadlines.
