HGV Class 2 Driver - DAVENTRY - ONGOING ROLE - Immediate start - £15.15ph

Pure Staff are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver working on day shifts. This role can offer candidates either ongoing agency work or temporary to permanent based on a successful trial period.

A HGV Class 2 Driver is required for an ASAP start for a company that deals with the delivery of office printers. The position is based in Daventry and will involve 2‑man deliveries and heavy hand‑ball.

Pay rates:
Monday to Friday, £15.15 per hour PAYE plus overtime paid at £16.84 per hour after 8 hours. After completing 12 weeks of work you will be entitled to a pay increase to £15.26 per hour.

Your hourly pay rate is £15.15, and you will accrue £1.83 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked. Holiday pay is paid separately when you book annual leave. We encourage drivers to take proper time off work for safety and mental wellbeing.

• HGV Class 2 licence
• No more than 6 points
• At least 6 months Class 2 driving experience
• Reliable
• Excellent time‑keeping
• Clean licence (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD, DG codes)
• Monday‑to‑Friday work with start times from 5 am; no weekends

• Heavy hand‑ball, 2‑man deliveries
• Delivery and installation of printers (installation training provided)
• 10‑12 hour days, 5 am start times
• Installation of Amazon lockers as required
• Speak to customers in a professional manner

Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella margins and/or payroll processing fees.
