Warehouse Supervisor

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to join our Ground & Rail team, working at one of our busiest locations in Daventry. You will lead and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and supporting the manager with employee performance and implementing process improvements. The shift pattern for this role will be 06:00 to 14:00, Monday - Friday.

In this role, you will take full operational responsibility for the warehouse, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and to a high standard.

You will lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, providing support with queries, resolving issues and managing performance. Maintaining health, safety, compliance and environmental practices will be a key priority, alongside driving efficiency and continuous improvement. Taking responsibility for monitoring performance against KPIs to ensure consistent delivery in line with processes and standards, identifying opportunities to enhance operational viability and commercial attractiveness.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience within warehouse operations, ideally within the air freight or logistics. You will be a strong leader who can motivate and develop a team, with excellent communication skills and ability to deliver under pressure.

You will have a good working knowledge of warehouse systems, scanners, and documentation processes and a strong understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements. Forklift training would be advantageous.
