Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £95.00 per day

Location: Daventry Primary & Specialist SEND Schools

Hours: Full-Time Day-to-Day Term Time Only

Smart Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support pupils in primary and specialist SEND schools in the Daventry area. The role involves assisting pupils with a range of special educational needs and complex learning requirements

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN or complex needs in schools
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Child or Child/Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid passport
• Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN
• Assist with learning activities, behaviour strategies, and personalised plans
• Promote independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
• Support social and emotional development
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external specialists
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
