Job Overview

We’re looking for a caring, patient, and proactive Teaching Assistant to support a non‑verbal child 1:1 in a primary school setting.

• Support one child throughout the school day
• Use alternative communication tools to unlock learning
• Build confidence, independence, and social skills
• Work closely with teachers and specialists
• Experience with SEND or non‑verbal children
• Calm, compassionate, can‑do attitude
• Communication tools experience (bonus, not essential!)

• Appropriate qualifications and training for this role (see FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details)
• Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (full assistance provided)
