WIS Inventory Associate - Travel Team Job Preview

The WIS Travel Team works predominantly with the world’s largest retailer, providing that organization exceptional Inventory Solutions support. The Travel Inventory Associate will travel with the team weekly to customer locations across their region, scanning barcodes for current inventory to provide accurate information that assists customers in making better decisions.

Drivers are responsible for safely transporting team members to and from inventory events in a timely manner, adhering to traffic laws and WIS driver safety requirements, conducting vehicle inspections, maintenance, and daily cleaning.

Team Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to stay in hotels up to 4 nights per week, at employer expense, including out of state travel
• No previous inventory experience necessary; we are looking for awesome people to come count with us!
• Experience in Retail, Stock, Customer Service, Cashiers, Sales, Picker, Packer, Driver, and/or Warehouse work is desirable
• Access to reliable transportation

Inventory Associate Driver Requirements

• Must be 21 years old
• Must possess a valid driver’s license within the state of residence for a minimum of 36 consecutive months
• A minimum of three (3) years proven driving experience
  
  Must be willing to submit to a pre‑employment investigative consumer report, screening, and MVR check in accordance with company standards
• Familiarity with GPS devices and how to navigate to assigned locations
• Availability to work flexible schedules with varying hours, including very early mornings and/or late nights

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time with occasional walking; use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions; be in low level positions such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching; use a ladder; lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.; travel via car and occasionally via plane, including overnight stays (3-5 days a week).
