Bus Driver

SCHEDULE: No weekends! Monday-Friday = School year 10-15 hours per week;
Summer 20-30 hours per week

PAY RATE: $25/hr

Must have valid CDL class B drivers license with a passenger endorsement, air brake certified

The Bus Driver is responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of each child enrolled in the program by following all policies and procedures listed in the YMCA Transportation Policy guidelines.

• Serves as a role model to members and Y staff and, at all times lives the mission, vision and values of the YMCA movement.
• Maintain order and provide direct supervision to children on the bus.
• Observe and follow all traffic and safety rules.
• Ensure proper vehicle maintenance and maintain a clean and safe bus by completing daily check of vehicle and requesting repairs as needed.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
• DOT physical

We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility and adheres to our mission. Must be able to obtain CPR/AED/FA certification (classes provided through the YMCA) and pass a state mandated background check for child care workers.
