Community Action of Eastern Iowa is seeking a highly motivated individual with social work experience to join our Family Development and Self-Sufficiency (FaDSS) team. In this position, Specialists provide in home case management to families enrolled in the FaDSS program. Specialists work with families to assist them with goal setting, building life skills, and accessing community resources to help participants overcome barriers and achieve self-sufficiency.
Minimum Level of Education/Experience Required High school diploma or equivalent required. Required experience working with families in social work/human services setting. An Associate’s degree or Bachelors’ degree in social work or other human service field is a plus. Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.
$16.58 – $18.30 per hour, starting wage

Travel Requirements
Travel is required to meet with participants in the FaDSS program within program service area (Scott, Clinton, Jackson, Cedar, Muscatine). Some out-of-town training required. All mileage is reimbursed at Federal mileage rates.
