Hanssen Electric is seeking two experienced, growth-minded Journeyman Electricians to join our Field Operations team. Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential and/or commercial electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs
• Read blueprints, electrical plans, and scopes of work to execute jobs accurately
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients
• Use field service software, digital work orders, and job apps to track progress and submit notes/photos
• Manage time, materials, and resources to complete projects on schedule
• Identify and report potential scope gaps or risks before they impact project outcomes
• Uphold high standards for safety, professionalism, and jobsite cleanliness
• Mentor apprentices and support a positive, team-oriented work culture

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and job scopes
• Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, installations, and repairs
• Comfortable using modern tools such as mobile job apps, time tracking, and digital documentation
• Professional demeanor and communication skills
• Eagerness to grow into a leadership role (lead, foreman, or master-level path)
• High attention to detail and pride in delivering clean, code-compliant work
