Position Summary:

Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and staying organized? Our prepared meals and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily by following recipes and preparing our warm, ready-to-serve rotisserie chicken. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items. You may juggle several tasks in a short time while helping members with bakery orders.

Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal.

• Be a Team Member:
  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert:
  Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie:
  Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Drive area performance; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Model high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion for the work; advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; follow the Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes and practices.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; identifies opportunities for improvement and adapts to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may be paid in premiums in specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Completion of required trainings and assessments if selected.

Preferred Qualifications: Food Service;
Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
