Travel Nurse Source is working with GSK SOLUTIONS INC to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Chariton, Iowa, 50049!
Job Title:
ED Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights Weekend Package
Location:
Chariton, IA
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Nights, Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (works 5 out of 6 weekends)
Responsibilities:
Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Plan, organize, and direct nursing functions, including direct patient care.
Assess, prioritize, and implement nursing interventions based on patients’ physical, psychological, educational, and discharge needs.
Administer medications and intravenous solutions skillfully and accurately.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR.
Assist other departments, including Med-Surg, as needed.
Participate in planning improvements and changes in departmental processes.
Maintain a professional work environment, demonstrating courtesy, cooperation, and confidentiality.
Adhere to infection control policies and hospital protocols.
Attend meetings, in-services, and orientation programs as required.
Work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification
ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification
