Position Overview
A great locum PRN opportunity for an experienced  Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner  in a rural critical-access environment. This role requires confidence practicing  independently  and managing both  ED  and  Med/Surg  patients.

Role Responsibilities

Function as  sole provider  on shift

Coverage includes  ED + Med/Surg

No outreach, no telehealth

Team Support:

1 provider on duty

2 RNs

1 Paramedic (CNAs occasionally)

Procedures:  Emergency care, inpatient, skilled care

Equipment/Services Available:  Imaging, Lab, Pharmacy

Average Volumes:

ER: ~3.6 patients per day

Med/Surg: ~1.4 patients

EMR:  EPIC

Temp Privileges:  Available

✈️  Travel Reimbursement

Flights, Lodging, Rental Car, Mileage reimbursed

✅  Requirements

Board Certified –  Required

Active  IA License  – Required

DEA + CSR – Required
