JOIN OUR TEAM! Vera French Community Mental Health Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team
. The ACT Nurse provides essential nursing services and supports clients in developing the skills and behaviors needed to successfully integrate into the community.

This is a full‑time, first‑shift position with rotating on‑call responsibility
.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Deliver nursing services, case management, and supportive counseling
  • Provide medication monitoring, administration, and education
  • Review laboratory values and communicate findings to the team prescriber
  • Evaluate physical health needs and make appropriate referrals
  • Teach independent living skills and facilitate access to community services
  • Assist clients in building community support networks and assessing daily needs
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a minimum of six months of psychiatric nursing experience
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Iowa
  • ANCC Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (Generalist) certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre‑employment physical, drug, and alcohol screen
