Power Truck Repair Mechanic

Overview

Arconic is offering a $5000 Signing Bonus! Starting rate of pay is $37.155.

• Dismantles, repairs, redesigns, rebuilds, modifies, and assembles all vehicle components and structures including engines, electrics, transmissions, and hydraulics to gas, diesel, LP and electric industrial power trucks, and other plant vehicles.
• Lubricates and services plant vehicles with gas, oil, grease, air, water, hydraulic fluids and transmission fluids.
• Reads and interprets electric and hydraulic schematics, blueprints and service manuals. Uses testing equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot.
• Performs cutting, burning and tack welding. Performs non-destructive testing.
• Enters time, keeps records, logs, and maintains databases.
• The successful candidate will be required to complete a probationary period.

• Must be a verified vehicle and/or truck mechanic with 2 to 5 years of on-the-job experience as a mechanic.
• Must successfully complete and pass Truck Repair Mechanic testing requirements. Qualified candidates will be contacted with instructions on how to complete the test.
