Industrial Electrician

Overview

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking an Electrician to work at our processing facility in Davenport, IA. Successful candidates must be willing to give improvement suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality oriented along with adaptability and willingness to work in a team oriented, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Pay starting at $37.41 an hour

Annual increases

• Must be available to work all shifts including second, third, weekends, and holidays.
• 1-year experience as an industrial electrician.
• Previous work experience in the electrical field. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to function in a high-performance work environment.

Hours may vary depending upon shift!

• Troubleshooting and operating equipment to reduce downtime.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks on time as advised by maintenance planners.
• Participate in the installation, startup, procurement, and debugging of equipment.
• Perform PLC, HMI and Process Control responsibilities, as well as knowledge of motor control centers.
• Perform general electrical duties such as installing conduit and wiring motors. Install and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Support plant projects and participate as an active member in the PSM Team.
• Complete all required periodic plant and job specific training.
• Responsible for adhering to all site rules, ways of working for processes and procedures within that role.
• Position requires compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Timely period work completion and the ability to perform all sanitation duties.
• Team participation is required.
