PBS is seeking a dependable General Cleaner to support daily office and warehouse cleaning operations in a North Davenport facility. Detail-oriented,
Industrial Floor Scrubber & Janitorial Cleaner for part-time evening shifts.

This role involves routine cleaning duties along with the daily operation and basic maintenance of a Floor Scrubber. All tasks must be completed in accordance with facility expectations and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and possess a strong work ethic, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.

• Daily operational use and maintenance of an Industrial Floor Scrubber with daily machinery maintenance (Prior experience Preferred)
• Perform general janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment following safety guidelines
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored
• Follow established safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning operations
• Mandatory PPE Requirements:
  Steel-toe boots are required and must be permitted on-site

PBS issues one set of required PPE, including a hard hat/bumper cap, safety glasses, ear plugs, and a safety vest. If any items are lost or misplaced, the employee will be responsible for obtaining and purchasing replacements.

• Preferred prior experience in floor scrubbing machinery, janitorial, custodial, or environmental services
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and thoroughness
• Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks during shift hours
• Reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled evening shifts
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
