Position Title: Patient Care Tech
Department: Surgical Specialty Unit
Schedule
- Full time .8 (32 hours per week)
- 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm)
- Rotating Weekends
- Rotating Holidays
As a patient care tech at Mercy One, you will participate in the provision of safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse through support of standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. Provide assistance to nursing staff and physicians in various patient care and non-patient care activities. Perform tasks in a caring and efficient manner that supports customer service and assist with department related housekeeping, and supply/equipment/facility maintenance tasks.

- Special Training:
Basic Life Support - Training Preferred: previous experience, healthcare student, CNA certification, medical terminology
Education
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
