As a Polysomnographic Technician at Mercy One, under general direction of a registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), you will prepare patients for and perform routine polysomnographic procedures, collecting data pertinent to the interpretation of test results. You will perform only those procedures for which proficiency has been demonstrated, and registration is not required, and will assist registered technologists with more complex recordings.
Schedule- Night Shift (8pm – 6:30am)
- PRN – minimum requirement of 24 hours per month.
- Special Training:
Enrollment and attendance in END technology training program. Basic Life Support. - Licensure/Registration:
Must obtain RPSGT within two years. - Experience:
No experience required.
- High school graduation.
- Field of Study:
Electroneuro diagnostics.
