This is a full-time role for a VP, Trust Officer or VP, Senior Trust Officer at American Bank & Trust based in the Quad Cities Metropolitan Area. The VP, Trust Officer or VP, Senior Trust Officer will be responsible for managing trust and estate accounts, ensuring compliance with fiduciary responsibilities, and providing high-quality, personalized service to clients. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining client relationships, preparing trust and estate documents, overseeing account administration, managing investments, coordinating with legal and tax professionals, and cultivating opportunities for new business development.
The role also requires leadership in promoting the bank’s services in trust and wealth management.
- Strong knowledge and experience in trust administration, estate planning, and fiduciary responsibilities
- Proficiency in investment management, including evaluating and monitoring client portfolios
- Excellent customer relationship and client retention skills with a focus on personalized service
- Ability to develop professional networks and generate new business opportunities in trust and wealth management
- Demonstrated strength in communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, law, accounting, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CTFA, CFP, CPA, or similar) are a plus
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and legal compliance within trust service
