Description: Manufacturing Engineer II

Location: Davenport, IA

Duration: 24 months with possible extension

Responsibilities
  • As an OFP Assembly Manufacturing Engineer (ME) supporting the Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) assembly line, you will:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Lead and manage small to medium-scale capital projects from planning through execution.
  • Develop, update, and maintain assembly line layouts, labor standards, methods, and standardized work procedures.
  • Analyze, design, and implement new manufacturing processes and emerging technologies.
  • Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for daily assembly operations to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for cost reduction, enhanced quality, improved safety, and ergonomic optimization across ADT assembly processes.
Required Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing processes, including exposure to quality, tooling, preventative maintenance, and facility operations.
  • Experience with engineering tools and manufacturing execution systems.
  • Proven ability to lead and implement projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills across operators, peers, and leadership teams.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technology field (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering preferred), or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Strong personal accountability, follow-through, and the ability to contribute to a positive, engaged team culture.
