Responsibilities- Crossing guards are responsible for ensuring the safe crossing of children and pedestrians across streets and intersections.
Davenport School Crossing Guards earn $23.56 per hour. Shifts available before and after school: 7:05am - 8:05am and 2:40pm - 3:10pm on school days. If both shifts are worked, you will work 1.5 hours per day and earn $35.34 per day!
What does a Crossing Guard do?Crossing guards are responsible for ensuring the safe crossing of children and pedestrians across streets and intersections.
Qualifications- Must be very safety conscious. Their safety and the safety of the children they work with is of the utmost importance!
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand for 1-2 hours at a time and hold a stop paddle
- Good communication skills
- Friendly and caring attitude
No experience is necessary. We will provide you with all the necessary training and equipment to make you a Davenport Crossing Guard!
