Day Habilitation Trainer (Quad City Location)

We are looking to hire a Full-Time Day Habilitation Trainer for our Quad City Location. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and six months of full-time employment in a related field. A bachelor’s degree in education, therapy, nursing, English, art, recreation therapy, social sciences, science, physical education, or history may be substituted for required experience.
Day Habilitation Trainers help participants with barriers to independence explore their community by taking them for lunch, grocery shopping, swimming, fishing, volunteering, and more. They use agency vehicles and public transportation for all community activities. This is a direct support position, with Day Hab Trainers helping clients develop skills such as cooking, writing, sewing, sign language, and other skills they might need or want to learn.
They also complete daily documentation on participant progress.

The schedule for this role will be 40 hours per week and the hours will typically be Monday‑Friday between 8:00am - 4:30pm. The Day Habilitation Trainer position has a starting wage of $15.31 per hour.
