Join a state-of-the-art hospital facility as a Locum Tenens Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon. This position involves inpatient-only responsibilities, focusing on orthopedic traumas and same-day add-ons. With on-call duties and OR access available every day, you will be an essential part of a dedicated team providing exceptional care.

• Setting: Hospital / Inpatient
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7-10 shifts per month
• Patient Population: Adult
• Location: Davenport, IA
• Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

• Cover orthopedic traumas and same-day add-ons
• Work exclusively in an inpatient hospital setting
• Collaborate with a team of physicians including specialists in joint, spine, hand, and podiatry
• Utilize nursing and advanced practice provider support in the OR

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active IA and/or IL License or Active IMLC
• Fellowship trained in orthopedics
• Experienced in the field
• Willingness to work at both Davenport and Silvis locations
• Clean malpractice/background, with current NPDB self-query

• 24-hour shifts
• Flexible scheduling for days needed on call
• No clinic duties, inpatient responsibilities only

• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Cerner
• Strong surgical skills for orthopedic trauma procedures
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills with both patients and healthcare team members
