365 Healthcare is seeking a LOCUM Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide hospital-based, inpatient-only orthopedic trauma coverage in Davenport, Iowa, with coverage required at two nearby hospital campuses approximately 13 miles apart. This assignment includes 24-hour on-call shifts, full OR access, and no clinic responsibilities.

This opportunity offers a 24-hour on-call rate of $3,134, along with lodging and travel coverage, rental car or mileage reimbursement, and malpractice insurance included.

Inpatient-only coverage (no clinic)

24-hour on-call shifts

7 10 shifts per month

OR access available daily

Weekend coverage as needed

Hospital-based orthopedic trauma service

Coverage required at two hospital locations

Trauma Level III orthopedic service

Average daily hospital census: patients

Orthopedic service includes trauma, joint, spine, hand, and podiatry

OR nursing and APP support available

No outreach

No telehealth

EMR: Cerner

Provide orthopedic trauma coverage

Manage inpatient orthopedic trauma cases

Cover same-day add-on trauma cases

Participate in operative management of acute orthopedic injuries

Collaborate with orthopedic colleagues, OR staff, and inpatient teams

24-hour on-call coverage

Holiday 24-hour on-call coverage

Call back and holiday call back coverage

Malpractice insurance included

Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery

Fellowship trained in Orthopedics / Trauma

Active Iowa and/or Illinois medical license or IMLC LOQ

Prior orthopedic trauma experience required

Willingness to cover both hospital locations

Clean malpractice and background history

NPDB self-query required at time of presentation
