OB​/GYN Hospitalist - Physician - Davenport, IA - PRN shifts

OB/GYN Hospitalist - Physician - Davenport, IA - 24 hour PRN shifts available

We are looking for an experienced OB/GYN to join our OB/GYN Hospitalist team on a PRN basis.

Job Details:

• Provide 24 hour in house care for OB & GYN emergencies in ER and labor & delivery (24 hour in house coverage by anesthesia and neonatology as well)
• Accept and manage transfers from smaller hospitals in the region
• Provide intrapartum, antepartum, and postpartum care for unassigned patients
• Back up call for Mercy One OB/GYN practice
• Supervision of 1st and 2nd year Family Medicine residents and one FM-OB Fellows

Mercy One Genesis Birth Center In Davenport is a busy labor & delivery unit with approximately 2000 births per year, supported by several groups of physicians, including 2 OB/GYN groups and Family Medicine physicians providing OB care.
