Job Description

Position Summary:

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing oil changes, tire rotations, and other light maintenance work. This is a critical role in the dealership as it ensures the longevity and performance of the vehicles serviced. The Lube Technician works closely with the service team to provide excellent customer service and ensure vehicle maintenance is performed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oil Changes:
    Perform oil changes, filter changes, and fluid top-offs.
  • Inspect and recommend additional services and repairs.
  • Vehicle Maintenance:
    Conduct multi-point inspections on vehicles.
  • Rotate, mount, and balance tires.
  • Check and replace air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades.
  • Perform battery tests and replacements.
  • Replace headlights, turn signals, and brake light bulbs.
  • Customer Service:
    Communicate with service advisors regarding the status of vehicles.
  • Provide detailed reports on the condition of vehicles and recommended services.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and quality service.
  • Shop Maintenance:
    Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Properly dispose of hazardous materials and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Work collaboratively with service advisors.
  • Participate in Ford training programs and stay updated on new technologies and procedures.
  • Work towards hands on training with Senior Master Tech.
Job Details
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Expected hours: 42 - 49 per week
  • Schedule:

    Monday-Friday 7:30AM to 5:00PM
  • Some Saturdays 7:30AM-1:00PM
