iServ is a franchisee of Sonny's BBQ, and operators of Symmetry Coffee Co, Giovanni's Pizzeria & Kitchen, and Tech Serv. We are currently seeking a Prep Cook to join our Giovanni's team!

- Cutting, weighing, or measuring ingredients according to provided instructions
- Preventing the spoilage of ingredients through proper storage in designated containers and area
- Monitoring the temperature of food and food storage areas
- Cleansing, sanitizing, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas, surfaces, utensils, equipment, and dishes
- Adhering to all food handling and safety regulations throughout the kitchen and restaurant
- Washing all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses
- Correctly placing and storing clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas
- Ability to listen and follow directions
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accountability
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead and direct while cultivating a healthy and collaborative team environment
- Stand for prolonged periods of time and handle products, tools, paperwork, and equipment.
- May be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment and requested to work with cleaning chemicals.
- May inhale smoke from a wood burning cooker.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with a team.
