Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN with a valid FL or compact license, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification for a travel assignment with weekend and float requirements.

• Work in a hospital telemetry unit
• Provides nursing care to adult telemetry patients
• 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend
• Floating is required among different units within the same facility
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week travel contract
• Care for patients requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Holiday coverage may be required per facility schedule

• Active FL or compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry RN experience
• Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Travelers must have a permanent address at least 75 miles from the facility
• Returning employees or travelers must have been away from the facility for at least 1 year
