Warehouse Operative - Day Shifts

An opportunity has arisen at a distribution site for a Warehouse Operative to join the Walker Park team, committed to providing a first-class distribution service.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a flexible, “can do” approach to work. You must be able to work with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday,
daytime shifts
, 06:50am – 16:00pm. A degree of flexibility may be required to meet customer and operational requirements.

• Using a counterbalance FLT to move and organise stock within the warehouse
• Loading products onto machinery or equipment using an FLT
• Operating machinery in line with standard operating procedures
• Packaging goods ready for dispatch
• Assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Adhering to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Carrying out other general warehouse duties as required

• Valid FLT Licence (essential)
• Computer literate
• Reliable and a good team player
• Demonstrates a high standard of safety awareness and attention to quality
