Assistant Management Accountant

A long-established and successful manufacturer, operating globally, is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fast-paced role that is based full-time in the office.

To assist with the preparation of financial transactions to aid the preparation of the management accounts to allow accurate reporting and provision of quality financial information to stakeholders.

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Process and record financial transactions across ledgers.
• Support invoice processing, payments, and supplier reconciliations.
• Help prepare VAT and tax returns to ensure compliance.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Verify inventory, WIP valuation, and cost accuracy in the system.
• Reconcile stock to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Check landed costs to ensure correct shipping and duty allocations.
• Review and verify BOM accuracy and stock provisions for slow/obsolete items.
• Support stock audits, authorizations, and month/year-end closing processes.

• Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 4pm
• 30 days holiday inc. bank holidays
